Shirdi Sai Baba is revered across the world as a saint of compassion, miracles, and wisdom. His message, “Sabka Malik Ek” (One God governs all), continues to unite devotees beyond religion and background.
Sai – The Musical draws inspiration from the Sai Satcharitra — capturing Sai Baba’s life, stories, blessings, and philosophy, offering devotees and seekers alike a chance to experience his presence in a unique way.
In present-day Mumbai, the miraculous occurs when Sai Baba appears in flesh and blood, stunning everyone. Similar appearances are reported in 30 cities across India, and the news quickly goes viral. In Mumbai, an ardent devotee brings Sai Baba to her home, and a few others join in to help care for him. Miracles begin unfolding both in her house and in the outside world, as Sai Baba smiles gently and says, “Allah Malik.”
The narrative weaves between the present and flashbacks to events that took place over 100 years ago, when Sai Baba walked the earth, showing similar occurrences. As the nation is swept up in the wave of devotion, questions and scepticism emerge from the media and authorities. Eventually, Sai Baba chooses a media person to address these doubts.
It is revealed that Sai Baba’s reappearance is the result of years of meditation and preparation by his devoted followers, who seek to remind the world that walking the path of Sai Baba can restore peace and order. In the end, the present-day Sai Baba vanishes, but not before reigniting people's faith and hope.
