Ananth N. Mahadevan

Biography:

Ananth Mahdevan along with Sanjay Pawar received the National Award (2010) for the Best Screenplay and Dialogues for the successful Marathi movie Mee Sindhutai Sapkal. The film also fetched him the special jury award at the National Film awards 2010. Mahadevan’s film Gour Hari Dastaan was part of the Indian Panorama at the International Film Festival of India (2014) Goa, at the International Film Festival of Kerala IFFK (2014), the International Film Festival of Bangalore, and at the International Film Festival of Chennai (2014). His next film Rough Book created excitement in the festival circuit and the Film Bazaar held in Goa.

Ananth Narayan Mahadevan plays the role of Damodar in the 2018 Hindi feature film Evening Shadows, directed by Sridhar Rangayan and produced by Solaris Pictures.[4] He plays the role of a strict patriarch who has his set opinions and wants other members in his family – his wife Vasudha (Mona Ambegaonkar), sister Sarita (Yamini Singh) and son Kartik (Devansh Doshi) – to obey his commands. Anant is co-directing the space-thriller film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.

Bhavna Pani

Biography:

Bhavna Pani is a Mumbai-based, multi-faceted artiste—an accomplished theatre and film actress, writer-director, choreographer, and a professionally trained Odissi and Kathak dancer since the age of six.

A Sringar Mani awardee, she has earned critical acclaim for her stage performances with Naseeruddin Shah in Motley Productions’ Aurat and The Father, and won the META Award 2013 (Best Actress) for QTP’s So Many Socks.

Bhavna has starred as the lead in over 14 feature films across Hindi and South Indian cinema, including the blockbuster Vettam directed by Priyadarshan, and appeared in more than 75 television commercials.

Internationally, she headlined the musical Bharati for a decade, performing over 1,500 shows across 15+ countries to global acclaim.

With over two decades in the arts, she now runs Just B Repertory and is currently directing the internationally celebrated musical Ashvin Gidwani’s Devdas.

A prominent television personality, Jayati Bhatia is best remembered for her portrayal of Mataji in Colors TVs daily soap Sasural Simar Ka. An active theater artist, Jayati has been a part of plays like Mahatma Vs Gandhi, Vagina Monologue, Mad About Money, Acid, Khatijabai of Karmali Terrace, and Blame it on Yashraj. While she has TV shows like Kutumb, Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, Sasural Genda Phool, and Sabki Laadli Bebo, she was seen in movies such as Barah Aana, Rough Book, and The Wishing Tree.

Biography:

Bharat Dabholkar started out in the advertising world and is the man behind the marketing of big players in the industry like Amul, Videocon, Frooti, Appy and Bailey among others. He dabbled in theatre, where he wrote and directed over 32 english musical plays including Bottom`s Up, the longest running play in the history of english theatre in India. Moving on to films, he brought a lot of roles to life and played supporting roles in popular films like One 2 Ka 4 (2001), Company (2002), Mr Ya Miss (2005), Corporate (2006), Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007), and Sarkar 3 (2017) among others.

Biography:

An electronic engineering graduate by qualification, Suchitra Pillai is a multi-talented person who has tried her hands in acting, modeling, anchoring and as a VJ too. And in all the spheres, she has managed to leave her mark. She is also an accomplished theatre artist and an occasional dubbing artist. In 1993, she made her acting debut with a French film titled Le prix d`une femme. Her next film was an English film, `Guru in Seven` that released in 1998. The same year she did a TV show Hip Hip Hurray that was aired on Zee TV which was popular back then. She was also a part of popular TV serials like 24 (2013), Beintehaa (2013-14), and Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman (2016-17). Her notable films are Dil Chahta Hai (2001), Page 3 (2005), Pyaar Ke Side Effects (2006), Fashion (2008). Her 2018 projects include an indie film The Valley.

Biography:

Achint Kaur is an Indian television and film actress known for her roles in popular soap operas like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. Born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, she began her acting career in 1994 and has since portrayed a range of characters in both television and films. Kaur also voiced the character Shenzi in the Hindi version of The Lion King.

Arif Zakaria is an Indian actor and producer who works primarily in the Hindi film industry. He made his acting debut in Kalpana Lajmi`s Darmiyaan: In Between (1997). His role was initially offered to Shahrukh Khan. But as Shahrukh Khan backed out at the last moment, Arif stepped in to play the part of a transvestite originally meant for the Bollywood star. Since then he has acted in movies like Earth (1998), Sangharsh (1999), Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2003), Dance Like a Man (2004), Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero (2005), My Name Is Khan (2010) and Lootera (2013). Mohan Kapoor is an Indian television and film actor, best known as the host of television game show, Saanp Seedi. His debut film was Beqabu (1996). Soon after, Mohan was seen in Angaaray (1998) and Deewangee (2002).
